996 hardtop rear defogger won't work?
have a hardtop for my 99 cab,i had it on last year and the rear defogger never worked,before i put it back on this year i checked it out,the contacts are there where the stud goes in the hole on the drivers side and the contact on the top is there also any idea why it wont work,when i turn the defogger on the light goes on in the dashboard??

Turn the switch on and check the voltage at the body contacts. If no volts check fuses & relay.
Check the resistance in the top grid. If open check the contacts/wires by the bayonet mount.
If both check out then check the alignment between the top contacts and the body contacts as you mount the top.
