First, to all of you who touted Fister D's, a sincere "thank you", and I am sorry I didn't do this sooner!!!! To Mark G, Dennis C (TX), Redridge, to name only a few, and ALL the others, thankx for your support and advice........
CW- couldn't have done it without your help and guidance, THANKX and see ya at WGI this week. Bring the scotch, (it's after Labor Day, we no longer wear white, have to wear socks and switch from clear liquids!!!!) I'll bring a few cigars ( I have your wine, too!)![bowdown](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/bowdown.gif)
Second, I am not talkin' Julie Andrews here....Where I live, in the mountains of Upstate NY, the symphony playing from the 3.6 litre flat 6, under load, or blipping thre throtttle is simply brilliant! I wish we had a few long tunnels......![thumbsup](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/bigok.gif)
Third, to Darin, or should I say "Maestro", wow..... simply amazing. The quality of the work/workmanship is fantastic. I know this wasn't a performance modification, bt she sure sounds stronger. I will, for sure, recommned you as often as I can!
Thankx again to all! Cheers!![cherrsagai](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/drink.gif)

They are awesome. Glad you're enjoying them.
I was driving through a canyon on a mountain road last night, and I loved it every time I let off the gas and I heard the burble echo in the canyon. It never gets old!

I actually went to the fister setup from my fabspeed exhaust.. Fabspeed was a bit to loud for my wife's taste and it had a bit more rumble in the cabin.. The fister is nice and you can hear them not as loud as the fabspeeds..

As I understand it, the Fabspeed set-up is a full exhaust change-up (cats forward) with more of an orientation towards performance, with the added benefit of breathability and sound. The Fisters are really a sound modification, more than a performance modification. Having said that, I would swear that the Fisters, which to me sound fantastic, make the car feel a bit more powerful.....
Steve/Barn996, had the windows down, the sunroof open, too, yesterday........I can't get enough of this

Pete sound clips are very hard to get much from.....you need to find someone with them on their car and hear in person... very nice.
My first experience was a track day. I kept staring at this very plain looking 996 and then went up to ask him what exhaust he had. He didnt know but he had a button on the dash to turn it on and off... (PSE) - from that minute i was sold, thats the best sounding street set up - the Fister's or "hacks" have about the same sound but no button and after all... like I told that guy that day.... why would you EVER push that button!!!
from inside Pete, you might not even know they are there... very very quiet on the highway cruising. sometimes i would forget... then with the windows down and accellerating I would think.. OH YEA those things are awesome BUT I dont need them "in my face" loud all day everyday

You really realize how loud they are when you drive into a parking garage with your windows open...
