Why settle for just one?

I think the Carrera looks the best. Not sure why I think the 911 looks cheesy.

The debadging was easy enough using 2 packages of floss.
But getting all the old glue off was horrible.
That took 10 times longer.
For anyone that is doing badge removal, this tool is inexpensive and 100% necessary. It makes glue removal SOOOOO much easier! I’ve used it many times to remove badges or side moldings, or those annoying dealer stickers.

Hmm, I wonder if that would help me take the racing stripes (hood/roof/trunk/bumpers) off my 2006 Mustang.
They have cracked badly but the paint looks perfect.
This is a job I've been putting off.

I’ve never used it on anything as wide or as long as racing stripes, but it may be worth a try.

The largest surface I’ve used it on is a car door replacement that came with a side molding I did not want. It worked really well for taking off the adhesive that was about 2”wide by about 4 feet long.

My Lapis Blue 996 had a black Carrera badge on that one could barely see. I changed to a matte silver Carrera badge and am very happy!

My 996.2 has a GT3 wing and the previous owner never put applied one after the paint. I put a black 911 and it I think it looks clean.

I have an original 2003 40 Jahre rear '911' badge in its original Porsche bag. Some years ago I was going to get an anniversary edition and got it with all the excitement but the project didn't complete. been collecting dust in my garage since then …..

Default 1999 911 rear badge

my 996 911 rear badge indicates Porsche. See attached. I want to add Carrera below the porsche badge but the rear hatch is contoured. Are the aftermarket badges flexible enough fit the contour. Has anybody added a badge as described.

The factory badges are not flexible enough.
I've never seen an aftermarket badge, but would assume it would depend upon the material used by whomever made it.
You could 3D print one with a flexible filament, but those are more rubber-like.
It might not take paint, nor hold up well.

Anyone have any tips on how to align the 911 badge? It's angled and want to make sure it is exactly where it's supposed to be. Also not sure if this is normal but the adhesive on the back seems REALLY weak.
