Robin 993DX

A friend's 01 996 snapped a shifter cable by the transmission area. Car came with B&M short shift kit along with what looks like a B&M coupling by the transmission area.

Is the cable sold as one complete unit with the coupling?

Are special tools required to set the shifter adjustment after the install?
If so, where can you purchase the jig tool?
