Default Installing Console....?

I had the console out to paint and put in a ssk. Now I am having a hard time putting it back it, it gets caught on the e-brake and I try to put it in place....any tricks on making it fit back into place correctly?? I don't rmember it being hard at all to remove.

Make sure the passenger seat is fully reclined before starting. This allows enough room to tilt the console to fit over the e-brake handle.

You have to go in sideways. Hard to explain of course.

Tilt the console on it's side, drivers side down, then "roll" it into place.

Worked for me the other day when I installed my short shifter.

These instructions toward the bottom of this page are for installing a B&M short shifter, but they cover removing/replacing the console:
