Default Calling UK/German Rennlisters

I'm hoping that someone can help me out with info on a car.

My father is looking at the following 997 in the UK... The dealer claims that it is a low milage German 997 that has been garages and recently imported into the UK. Unfortunately a lot of the elements of the story just do not add up and I'm hoping someone here might be able to fill in the blanks.

The was talk of the original owner buying it and garaging it without registration as an investment -we all know that to be BS. Additionally, the car shows way more wear than a 700 mile car should. On principle I'm concerned about them representing a 3 year old car as new.

Let me know if you can help.

Thanks!

yeah, you can buy cars in Germany that are RHD - he has bought and imported one in the past, so that part of the story is not so far fetched, it's the other pieces that do not add up.
