Question Any experience with Lamin-x provtective films for headlights? Pictures - Added

I just installed my Lamin-x protective films (http://www.lamin-x.com/Porsche-996-C...ers-p/p002.htm). I went with 20 mil clear for a good protector.

It was relatively easy following the instructions, however despite my best efforts there are still a fair number of water/air bubbles. They say this is normal (and because of the porous nature of the film they will evaporate), but I am curious if anyone else can say how long it takes the bubbles to evaporate and if they had the same issues.

From a few feet - not bad

Up close blemishes appear

That actually looks very mild compared to some I've seen. Give it a few days, it will completely clear up.

Looks quite good btw, probably feels good knowing you're covering those expensive lights!

I did mine and they will look a little funky until they dry in a day or two. After that, perfect

(but I had no air bubbles -gotta get those out- can't tell if some of yours are air bubbles from the picts)

Let the car sit out in the sun for a bit. That will clear them up.

Maybe they are like window tint. Make sure lots of solution is under the film. Work at the air bubbles first then the water. Window tint will take around a week to evaporate the water out. Air bubbles don't evaporate.
