Can someone please help me verify that 997-101-212-01 is the most updated RMS for a 99 996 C4?

I got the part number from Pelican parts, and the seal is made by Victor Reinz?

No idea. But I can tell you this.. and I was a lucky one.
I ordered a seal from a site like you are ordering from. It got delayed by a snow storm for days..
So i drove to the dealer and picked one up and installed it.

When I got the one I ordered from the after market distributor it was the old style.. Just go to a dealer and pick one up. The original one has round dimples around it while the new one had rectangle dimples around it. Lucky for the snow storm or I would habe put the ol style POS in the car!

You are correct that's the number for mine from Sunset Porsche. $11.34. If you're in there update the clutch release lever too.
