Smoking Side lights

you are correct, and since its your car and you like it, more power to you
I have seen yellow too and also am not a fan so its not the color... its just the whole "headlight colored" that I dont care for...
BTW the smoked sides look way better than stock.. just for fun, what do you think clear sides tinted blue would look like ?

Joking apart the main reason I put the film on was that I was getting pissed off every month having to put painters tape over the lights for the DE's. I'd rather spend money on good stuff rather than replacement lights.

Well the front ones you see are Goodyear F1's which I put on the day I got the car almost 2.5 years ago and they've had 6 DE's on them. The things just won't wear down.
On the rear's I used to have the Goodyear F1 GS 3 or something like that but they lasted all of 3 DE's and at $400 a tire i started to look for alternatives. I finally settled on Sumotomo's II and I have to say as a street tire they are great, I would warn anyone not to take the II's on the track.
I bought a spare set of wheels for the track and they now have a set of Nitto's NT01 on them, and boy does that feel good on the track, stock setup for the car nothing fancy.

Tinting headlights is not legal where I live.
As an aside: I've never understood the reasoning Porshe have for not having the side markers twined to the front turn signals. It would be interesting to hear a company view on their thinking given the fact that they do have other unusual lighting options such as the single rear fog light or traffic side only park lights that north american car makers do not employ.

I agree on the track tires.....been thinking about that real hard lately. Not sure though if it is a good idea to running two different tread patterns on your street tires though. I would stick with one make and pattern at all 4 corners.

But the lady handles perfectly the way she is just now though.

Can't do much about the reverse sensors but you can program the passenger mirror to automatically dip when in reverse if that is your preference.

"Just swaped out my side lights for these smokers , let me know what you think, to stay yellow or to go smooky."
I like em'. The grayish/not blackish color blends in with the gray paint.
I think that bright clear side markers would stand out a bit more since your headlights are not bright clear.
Source and cost?
