Question Steering wheel removal

Trying to remove the steering wheel and I’ve gotten as far as loosening the nut indicated with the arrows. After giving the nut a few turns so there is some space in the threads, the next step is to pull the steering wheel out a bit. But it won’t budge. What am I missing? Anyone know why it won’t come o

Thanks Cannon, however, those were the first two screws I removed to take the airbag out. As you can see in the pic, the air bag is gone and the steering wheel should come right out now but it doesn't. Kind of at a loss at this point.

Ok - after taking the nut off, I really pulled hard and it came off. I had a rubber mallet just in case but did not need it. Came right off. I'm working my way up to taking the entire dash off so I can redo with Alcantara. I'll take pics and post the steps as they go.
