Default Pic with iPhone4G: New 997 Airbox.

Ok, finally found a 997 air box on eBay for $25 + 15 ship. Came off a 997 with 100 miles. Also note the C4S bumper from eBay for $400. Pictures shot with the new iPhone4.

The airbox looks awsome! Does it offer any increased air flow? What is the MSR prioce? I could see that in my car.

wow, that is much nicer than the stock 996 airbox!

Any performance changes? plus or minus? Is this airbox "mechanically" the same as the 996 one?

Would this void my warranty if I installed it?

I really like the look of this!

and I'm also impressed with the 4G quality of pics!

Very nice Mod, now if I can convince either my Bro-in-law in LA or my neightbor friend to upgrade their 997 airbox so that I can have their OEM one, that would be awesome Thanks for sharing the pics...

What is the MSR prioce?
Suncoast:
997-110-923-01 AIR CLEANER 377.89 (not in stock)

The intake to the air box is larger than 996. Vents on bottom of box use an open screen, very tight, will not let in water. OEM uses perforated plastic. Used an orange cap on the small air outlet to plug air flow. It seems a little throatier, and more responsive but can’t be sure. This is a 3.8 airbox which used a mechanical flap to open and close the small air outlet but I am not sure how to hook up the vacuum hose to open and close the flap. With the orange cap it is always closed.

Just FYI you do not have an "iPhone 4G" as there is no such thing, the new iPhone is simply the iPhone 4. However, it does take some great pictures!

Would it fit the 3.4 996?
