Default My new supercup exhaust!! :) *updated w vid!*

Hey, woo hoo! My new fabspeed supercup exhaust finally came!

just finished installing it... ran into 2 issues.. first it didn't come with tips like I expected.. I was expecting the 993 style tips to be on it... I will email them in the am... but until then I cant get the pass side tip to tighten up... clamp is all the way closed... loose as a goose... redid it 4 times.. same each time... any tips? no pun intended?

My TA sport exhaust flanged end-pipe would not connect to the OEM tips-pipe without a special ring that goes in between the 2 pipes used as a connector-type to seal and also to act like an adjustment tool for the tips. Without this ring in between, the clamp would not hold tight, connecting the 2 pipes. One end of the pipe, TA exhaust side had a flange design which is different than the OEM Porsche exhaust end-pipe design. I had to order those rings directly from TA authorized dealer in LA. You may need to contact FS and ask them about your issue... Good-luck.

I am betting on a "ring" somewhere that is not there (or in a box)

and look at that - NO LOVE for the Spyder !!

Funny - that's what I used to use my 124 for, too.

Hey are these the ones they said they were going to fab up for $595 over on 6speed a couple of months ago?

This link? http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/a...-released.html

Did you retain stock cats or is this cat delete?

Thanks for the update, I'm curious. I thought I heard a rattle in one of my mufflers the other day, so if it doesn't pass the rubber mallet test this weekend I may drive down to Fabspeed and see what they've got.
