Default AOS bellows and spark plugs tube replaced

Hello folks....,

Finally done it.....

Easier then i tought.

First like some of you folks said ,i went to WalMart where i bought a rubber boat plug to remove the oil spark plug tubes.Without this tool it is almost impossible to get out any of these tubes out.

The other thing i replaced was the AOS bellows.

There was a sever leak cumming from under the AOS. The AOS was full of dry oil and you can follow the oil route until the ground. Oil was leaking from the bellows located under the AOS.The oil was splashing above and under the bellows.

Just to let you know that i did not get any CEL at all and the engine was running pretty good all the time.Once i took the bellows out it was still looking good with no cracks or hole in it but believe me it was leaking a lot.

The AOS is really easy to replace maybe 20 minutes not more and the spark plug tubes took more then 3 to 4 hours.(Did it with the boxes in place.)

The first tube took by himself more then one hour to take off but once i get the trick it's been a lot much easier.

Now no more oil leak from anywhere under the engine is that beatiful...Ha Ha Ha!!!!

Just to let you know folks that if you have to fix anything on your Porsche go for it by yourself.....why not it is sometimes easier then you tougth at first...Go for it.Ask question on Rennlist the the guru on this site will help you find the problem and fix it.
Thanks Everybody!

Great job! Nice looking car. The reason I am looking for a 996 is so I can work on it myself. Nice to see others having success with this.

good job.... keep an eye on that bellows area, there is a sensor nearby (to the right of the bellows).... I had to change an O ring for the sensor that caused an oil leak. You know what they say about Porsche oil leaks....

A leaky Porsche is good, at least you know it has oil, no leak means.... there's no oil left in the engine.
