Oil Pressure Failure Indicator

Oil Pressure Failure Indicator
So I searched and it seems that I need an oil pressure sending unit, and that the repair isn't too hard (just tricky to get to).
Odd that this would happen only 2 weeks after my oil change, but I guess it just happened that way and it's not related.
Where can I purchase one of these online and how much does it cost?

Thanks,
- Anthony

Sounds good, thanks.
I started the car this morning and the oil pressure indicator worked just fine. I drove for about 15 minutes and then I heard the beep from the onboard computer, and the gauge dropped to zero.
Only 22,000 miles and it already failed, so depressing.

That's the sign of oil pressure sender unit getting fail and it will just get worse. First time I had mine happen was in January and it didn't happen again until March (I barely drive the car) then it start to fail every drive recently.
Here is a very helpful DIY post for he oil pressure sender unit. I was able to replaced mine from underneath the car without lift the car up. Good luck on replace them!

There is a 'special' tool to fit around the hex at the bottom of the sender but if you have an old set of wrenches you can get out a grinder and modifiy the closed end to make removal easier.
