First RL post.
Looking at this 996 on ebay in Miami FL:

Can someone drive by and do a RennFax on this car for me before I order a PPI?
Also, any recommendations for a good PPI in the Miami area?
I'm in Charlotte NC.

welcome, there's a Vertex Auto just down the street from this dealer. Car looks clean and Carfax looks good. I don't know if Vertex could / would do a PPI for ya.
If you contact Gilbert @ Vertex, tell him a couple Firefighters from Miami recommended you.

The only question I have would be maintenance history which may be hard to gather.

Unfortunately, I am busy tomorrow and on duty thursday so the auction will end. If it doesn't sell, stay in contact with the dealer to see what kind of price they're looking to get. If it's still around, I can try to check it out Friday ( the 25th ). lmk, Ed.

Rennfax is a Euphemism for Carfax where somebody solicits a Rennlister to look at a car for them. I have done many a Rennfax inspections for other RL'ers.
