Default Engine vibration at idle

Hello folks......,

How's your engine running.....mine is vibrate at idle just a bit.

The engine runs perfectly but you can feel the vibration
I replaced the engine mount, spark plugs and all the filter..

The vibrations are less then before but you can still feel it.

Is your engine runs the same

Thanks

Robert

Lightbulb idle

Is your idle 800 rpm and or does it fluctuate any? if your idle is steady @ 800 rpms with no fluctiation, sounds like you have something loose ie dash or doors if your whole car is shaking check plugs clean idle air valve with electronics cleaner. If the problem occurs when you pull off from a stop maybe give car meor gas. If problem occurs when your stop press clutch earlier. hope this helps

Worth trying a search. This has come up often in the past. AFAIK, it's not at all unusual for these cars to vibrate at idle enough to make the passenger seat back shiver.

+1, although theoretically an H6 is supposed to be completely balanced and smooth like the inline 6....but that's just theory

don't mean to hijack the thread,, but,,
my idle never reached 800,, it always fluctuates between 600-700,,
is that a problem?

Most engines run a little rougher at rpm's lower than prescribed for idle.
