Hi everyone,
Bought new to me 05 C4S with 9.7k miles full leather, Bose prem, htd seats, tip, 2 weeks ago. Always lusted after a P-car but had to make do with BMW's for many years.
I love it. What a ride! Looking to do some modest mods in time.

"welcome, looks like you settled for the right color.
It's a beaut!
Give us your initial impressions vs. BMW."
Let me try:
First I was surprised, shocked really, at the firmness of the ride right after picking it up especially over broken pavement and expansion joints.
Then I slowly got adjusted to it and began to really enjoy it.
Biggest differences noted: more control, you aim it and it goes there; no slop in the steering, none; Throttle tip-in is sweet especially compared to my latest BMW(335) with the annoying turbo lag. Brake modulation is exemplary.
Then the engine wail at WOT!!! I thought the 335 was nice but this is great, so addictive that I sometimes play no music in the car just to hear those pipes...
It sticks like glue in corners, any corner, stays in the chosen gear while cornering...
It looks great. I get in it for drives for no other reason than to drive it. Hard to believe it's an '05.
It is my DD and I'm looking forward to participating in autocrosses with PCA.
