I thought you asked this on the other thread so I posted it there.

There are two push rivets. You get a small 1/8" minus diameter pushrod or a punch and drive it into the center of the rivet(you would be driving it into the dash). I couldn't figure out how to do it first so I just yanked the whole thing off then realized how I could do it.
