You will love the Pagid yellows, I installed them last year and have done over a dozen track days with them. No fade, and amazing stopping power. I was shocked how pads could make such a big difference. I still have the original stock rotors, although the spider cracks are getting closer and closer to the edge, which means replacements arent far away.
These pads love heat, for street use you may expierence some squeel, which should remind you its time to get back on the track ASAP...

Which tells also REMINDS you they aren't operating in the proper heat range and stopping power is diminished (although I prefer your reasoning ).

It's not hard guys, street pads for the street and track for the track. Don't be lazy and you will have not only the proper braking power you need but you'll have it in the proper environment.
