This may have been answered elsewhere but I've never been able to find a definitive answer, is the 40th anniversary a wide body? Or does only the front bumper and rads from the turbo carry over as far as the body goes?

I recently got a small hole in my bumper due to a flying tire tread from a semi. Since I was there, I had them repaint the lower lip Carrera GT. Crossing my fingers it survives winters and autoxs!

It looks good but I would cringe every time it rubbed a dip in the road. I'm still waiting for a cone to take out one of the radiator covers...ever happen to you?

Looks great! I too would worry about scraping - at least the black kind of covers it up - if you get a scrape on it now it will be noticible - but I do like the look.

I recently acquired #1203, with slightly under 39k CPO warranty (so 2 years/50k for any RMS/IMS issue to surface = new engine). My first Porsche. My next will be a C4 or C4S, so I can drive it in the snow! For now, have to keep this one in sunny, warm places.

The prior owner(s) took very good care of this car with regular service and oil changes at the Porsche dealership.

I have cracked several lips on my prior cars at autox. I'm not sure if the previous owner or I cracked my old 40AE lip. Price I pay for cone hunting. Thankfully the part is only like $85 from porsche in the OEM black.

I may look into another set of wheels and snow tires. What is your set up for winter? (Wheel make/size/snow tire brand etc)?

I'm not running the ideal winter setup, since I got these before I realized what was ideal.

Ideal: 18x7.5, 18x9.5, 225/40, 265/35
More common: 18x8, 18x10, 225/40, 265/35
Mine: 18x8, 18x11, 235/40, 295/30

I don't really think brand matters as much as snow compound. I'm currently running Nokian snow tires.

LOL I was wondering who would end up with 666 and perhaps 911 - both some unique numbers. I would put 420 in that catagory too.
