Default Coolant leak in passenger rear

Dripping coolant but all I can see is it's dripping off the header. Cant really see anything specific it's dripping from. Very small drip. Any thoughts on a common issue here?

Is it dripping just in front of the left rear tire? If so, that is either the coolant cap or the coolant tank.

Newest cap part number ends in 04 or 05. Tank replacement is potentially a DIY, but it is a tight fit. If you DIY it, by the time you are finished you will learn a bunch of new ways to string cuss words together!

right side Tim... though it could be moving over there I suspect the coolant hose/connection... pull out the air filter box and you can see WAY more areas that might help find the problem (its a 5 minute operation)

Pulled out the air cleaner and didn't find anything obvious. Crawled under the rear of the car and did see coolant around the header and misc shields and covers. It looks like it's coming from somewhere behind the heat shield that covers the spark plugs. I'm gonna jack it up and pull it apart later to see if I can tell exactly where it's coming from.

It's definatly not coming from the main coolant hose as it is all bone dry along with all the other hoses and parts I can see from the top of the engine.

Chances are that you or someone like you has pinched the coolant line that is just ahead of the jack point during a jacking exercise.

I looked at mine the other day and saw that it was nicely kinked.

Kinda like the oil lines on the old air cooled lines. It was very common to pinch these.

Let us know if this is the case and if so what is involved ($) with fixing it. I don't like how mine is pinched.

I see the pipe that it's dripping down (see the attached picture).

There are two hardline pipes. The one towards the rear is the one with all the fluid. It appears to be coming from the top of this pipe but I cant see in the engine enough to tell for sure thats where it's actually leaking from.

Anyone know what these pipes are called and how hard it would be to replace/fix. I dont even see how I can get to the top of the pipe.

Before I get any smart remarks...the picture of the engine is NOT my engine!

OK...so with the help of the picture, I figured out that those things that I thought were some sort of hard line, are not lines at all, they are brackets. Soo...then I looked around the bracket and still didn't see anything.

Started the car up and let the drip start happending again and I found it! It is definatly leaking from the main waterline, right where the rubber connects to the hard line.

Looks like just a spring holds that thing on there. Is it as simple as pulling the spring off and then the hose? It's a wierd place for it to all of a sudden start leaking though.

The arrow is pointing to the muffler mount. Are you sure it's leaking from there, because that would be bad....

Replace the factory spring clamp with a worm clamp, should fix it.
