Noticed you asked the question twice but no answer....

It is a real easy thing to do. Take your index finger and put it up against the end of the side marker that is in the wheel well. Pull the side marker out with your finger. There is a metal spring clip which is part of the side marker housing which holds the whole mess in place. Disconnect the wires... reconnect the new one ones and pop it back in to place.

I have not, just watched, but you can have my old orange ones for free to experiment with. The tech just reached under the fender liner and pulled them out.

hey, this is a 5 second operation.... if you can get it (or need a bit of a nudge to just do it) give me a time and I will swing by (as long as its not raining I just washed my car !!!)

stupid rain anyhow... normally I DD my car but I just got it clean monday and was working on some of the finer detailing of the wheels last night, couldnt bring myself to getting it dirty before I at least finshed all 4 wheels

He had them tinted, they aren't eyelids per se'. :-)
