That's a very good price. See if Darin Fister might want to snag those for a future mod.

Hmmmm.....doesn't seem to be much interest in 3.4 mufflers. No PMs so far.

What did one muffler say to the other? We make a great pair!

Still available. Had an interested buyer, but he found what he needed a lot closer to his location.

However, I now have them packed in a solid triple-wall box (upper padding and top not shown), all ready for the next prospective buyer.

Where were you when I needed the 3.4 mufflers last Xmas?...I sent mine to Darin Fister for his great mod. and he informed me that mine were bad at the seams, so he bought a pair, but they weren't $100. That's still a smoking deal for someone that has the 3.4 cans. GLWS

Steve, did you have Darin mod a set of 3.4's?

I had a set of 3.6 for my mod....
To the OP.... you price is OK, I sold mine just a little south of there, but a fair starting point for sure!

Yes Ed, and they sound unbelievable, a dramatic improvement for the whisper soft stock mufflers. You air-cooled guys already have the Porsche sound, at least my SC did with Borlas.

Well, they were still on the car then. I had been looking for 3.6 cans for my newly installed X51 engine, but didn't come up with anything until a few months ago. After swapping them on, I first thought I would keep the 3.4 cans in case I wanted to go back to them. I have read that others have done this also.

Duhhh....why would anyone want to go back? The PSE sound is most satisfying, especially with the sunroof and windows open.

So, there is no point in keeping the 3.4 cans. If there is no interest on RL, I may try eBay.

I wouldn't be too hasty. You've only had them up a few days, and it IS a holiday weekend. I just noticed them today for the first time. Be sure to post them in the For Sale section. Lots of folks go straight there without passing through the various model specific Forums.

My friend with a 77 was heart broken hearing my stock exhaust the first day I got the car compaired to his. He doesn't like the VW sound of the old cars.
