Question Looking for pictures - Mk1 sideskirts installed on cars with factory bumper covers

I am trying to figure out what this would look like as I would like to install the side skirts (all that is left in the mods budget for the year). I am concerned that the car will not look symmetrical or will lack flow. IIRC, the aero (or GT3) front bumper cover has a crease that matches the side skirt.

Does anyone have a picture?

no pic but I know some disagree but I think the skirts look fine with the stock bumpers.
However, the GT3 bumper without the skirts, not so good...

Argh I love the side skirts ! even on their own they look awesome

But I see your avatar is a MkI model, no ?

I think the MkI sideskirt look a little more bulky so it might look a little off.

I asked a guy at the track with gt3 bumper and wing and no sideskirt, he told me they provided no aerodynamic gain, is that true ? are they just for show ?

I assume he is right as the factory allowed you to have them without the wing and bumper... I just think they look cool. I already have the wing but still looking for my MkII gt3 front bumper to mount it arghhh...

It was a nice car, missing skirts aside

But every Porsche nut should experience the aircooled 911 ownership experience!

LOL and you are right Marc, you know I searched and finally found and paid for the rear wing right before I traded it, and had been on the prowl for sides, and the rear lower sides too.

Money seemed to get in my way but I was dilligent about making changes right up to the end and beyond.

I miss it too, but there is something I really like about the red car too. YEA - I miss it, no regrets
