best of luck with it.

i have found I can work on the car myself, doing alot of the small items. You can check on Rennlist.com DIY lists. For example, I just swapped out my brake pads in about 30 min per side (hint, use a 3" paint scraper to separate the vibration dampeners from the pad back.) You can bleed the brakes yourself with a pressure bottle on the reservoir and a syringe on the nipples.

One update you my look into, which made my life much easier, is the GT console delete and short shifter kit. One replaces both in one job.

Finally, once you get it set up right, get thee to a Drivers Ed event. Only then will you begin to see what you have.
