I am in the market for an MkII aerokit for my 2003 C2.
I have found a brand new oem rear wing for sale ($1300) and I wonder if I should spend the money for an OEM made out of metal, or go for a lighter aftermarket version made of urethane or something of that nature ?
I'll certainly buy the OEM sideskirts and front bumper as the price is close to aftermarket and made in plastic anyways.
Saving weight ? or better resale value with heavy OEM ?

OEM Aero rear wing is fiberglass. Go OEM for fit alone. 1300 brand new is VERY cheap for a factory wing.
Is the rear wing you found an Aerokit or off a GT3, the GT3 has the air intake on the opposite side

Aero Bumper you want OEM because aftermarket fiberglass shatters if you ever hit something. Side Skirts and and rear wing can go aftermarket. GT3 rear wing will not fit C2s.

+100 on OEM.
Nothing fits as well and nothing is as light an an OEM kit - it was designed for your car by Porsche and anything else is just a replica at best.

OEM.
I have it on my '03 (full factory-installed aerokit). The rear wing in particular is rather complex and I would not risk going aftermarket. The OEM version is incredibly well-made.
