Default Headlight Washer delete ?

I really hate the chrome headlight washer, is there a solution to get rid of them...nicely ?

I was thinking about headlight cover, but they all have the damned washer hole in them..

May be I'll paint them silver, at least it will be less annoying than chrome.

If anyone did something about this, please post your solution or picture

I'm sure there are a lot of bumper plugs of varied types out there. I'm sure the flusher the more suited it would be. I wonder if there is any chance the spots for parking assist have the same size so that you could use the covers of those.

Could you buy a set of headlights from a non-HID car that doesn't have the washers? I'm not sure if you could still run HIDs in these housings, but maybe...

That suggests that the covers can just be pulled off? Do you know whether they can be removed without damage such that you can put them back on?

I have a black car and kind of want to try to tint treatment on the headlight surround, but the washer covers are a problem.

IIRC they replaced the entire unit as just the cover doesn't get sold individually. With that said, I think the piece is removable (the problem is that they only sell the trim piece attached to the nozzle).

Just don't hold me to that

I'll post a pic of what I am talking about. (item 14)

I don't even think those chrome pieces are noticeable, painting is probably the best route.

To be honest, I think painting will make it look worse. It blends in better in the chrome. It would just stand out in a color.

it is nice to help.... I have found the reward to be above anything I could have guessed....

I think its part of the P-car world I didnt understand before I became a part of it. I thought "these people" were out of reach to the "common person" but found reality to be quite the opposite! - Now I return the love and its amazing how it grows a friendship.... today a guy I let drive my 86' is buying his own 86' and I can assure you I never thought I would let a total stranger drive "my prescious" but the flip side is I have a great new friend who let me drive his car and we are planning a GTG for food and wine in celebration of the new car... just a great feeling !!

Totally agree. I didn't know how to do ANYTHING on a car before I bought my first p-car. I didn't even know how to do oil. Now? Nothing short of the major stuff I can't do. I leave the biggest stuff for the race shop.
