Thanks, it's a great car!
Oh and I changed the front side markers to blink with turn signals (they're still lit as side markers with the headlights), which I much prefer. Had been meaning to do that for some time.
Anyway, here's another shot. I will try to add more still.

Also you should note this is a late '99 with the clear indicators, later production model is a plus.
This is an awesome platform and LSD is a big plus in my book.
Good luck -- what's next?

Oh you guys kill me...
This ought to be a great car moving forward, it's already had most of the actual common problems of the 996 addressed, including the mentioned starter/coolant overflow tank/oil filler tube, and before that other stuff like alternator, motor mounts, etc. I even clean the radiators and use oils from the current approved list!
Here's a few more pictures:
It's as clean as it looks! As for what's next for me? I don't think I can go long w/out some variant of a 996, but I think I want to move to a GT3 or a twin turbo if I can find the right one, but I'm not completely done playing with other cars either. I've got a fetish for a Volvo V70R, and an EVO MR, two other cars that I like a lot...
