Default Newbie Pics: Update- Lowered

Ok ok, after looking at all of your lovely car pictures I was inspired to get off my rear and take a few pics of my 2000 996. (No it hasn't blown up yet) I've been lurking around here for a few weeks and figured it was about time to get official. Thanks for all the great info.

Eibach springs installed.

Looks great! Very clean! What brand are the wheels? What are the sizes on the wheels/tires?

hey eggodynamics, you have a thread asking about chopping springs... now I know why. At first glance I thought your 996 was a modified cayenne. lol j/k

20's on the back, 19's on the front. P Zero's on Axis rims. I plan on going with a set of adjustable Bilstens at some point and lowering it 1/2". I may go with a slightly less aggressive rear offset as well. Not really sure yet as this is my first Porsche and I'm trying to figure out what to do with it. I like the classic street car look.
I would have done this all at once, but I don't run a hedge fund.

20's? wow. hows the ride? Having 18's in my ROW is really bumpy where I live.

Rides perfectly actually. Takes bumps like a champ, and no scrub.

nice ride Eggman!

wow 20's....I was thinking 19's on US ride height otherwise the fender gap was too small... didnt think the rears were 20!

great pics thanks for sharing

OH and BTW I have a stock full suspension in my garage you can basically have for shipping and my time to box it up... might be fun to tinker with

Are you sure those are 20's? Maybe its an all fiberglass body to ride that high.

Yes I am certain, 20's on the rear. Suspension is currently stock springs with Bilsten OEM stock replacement shocks. I realize this is a more aggressive look, but I'm trying to find a balance between extreme street, and those beautiful german lines.
Noone can dispute that the lines on the 996 are work of art. Don't forget where the 911 came from!
