It seems that standard or the F117#251 is clearly the choice.

I really appreciate all the input! I think F117 is going to be the winner.

How about DE 251

Hawaii allows research online for which plates are open and reserving the plate.
http://www4.honolulu.gov/specialplates/

I'm not too sure if the # number or pound sign is allowed for plates in your area. Does NC have the online pages for reserving a plate and researching which ones are available?

Check post #1 as those are plates directly from the NC DMV website that I created.

You made the right choice..I voted for your Dad. Lost mine to short bout of cancer 6 years ago.

I have been thinking about my own plate with one of his sayings in mind......Zaftig

"Voluptuous and zaftig usually connote ripeness, sensuality, and a body shape involving large breasts and wide hips."

I think it fits the car well.

Hey Dell, sorry to hear about your dad. I lost my mom a couple years ago...it's painful. F117#251 would be a great tribute. I bet your dad was a great guy. 251 has been my badge number for about 19 of the past 25 years.

Dell, I lost my Dad to cancer 2 years ago and my Mom to the same around 13 years ago, I think the tribute plate is the best. Plus F117 is just a cool plate as well.

Mark, I love it!!!!!!

And thanks again to everyone for the kind words. As the few years since he died pass, the wound still feels fresh. Not only was he was dad, he was also my best friend. Something we as sons dream about. I'm very lucky to have had that relationship with him. He lost his fight on a monday after father's day. I was very lucky to spend the weekend with him and celebrate him one more time.

He truly was an amazing person and gave his life to the Air Force for 30+ years and accomplished about everything you could accomplish in the Air Force an officer could. I'm very proud of him and miss him dearly and this plate will keep that pride I feel for him with me on a daily basis.

Thanks again everybody.

F117#251 is clearly the right choice

No sure I follow Bob. Are you referring to my "not going to mod" thread?

I went with a variation on the 996 theme:

It's a Carrera, not a Camero. The UK plate wasn't compatible.
