I'd struggle with the temptation to 'unwrap' my 911 if I did that. Great way to preserve a pristine original paint finish...especially a track dedicated 911.

That is stunning.

I do wonder how it will stand up to rock chips, etc. My clear bra has cuts and nicks, some that expose paint. There are also some chips that have clearly dislodged paint that is now held in place by the bra and will come off when it is eventually removed. That lighter color underneath may show where the front gets chipped. The texture may help minimize and/or conceal these.

My car has had 3 wraps in the last year. Although it gets more track time than street time, the wrap is pretty good at keeping road debris off your car.

Some folks do get worried about partial wraps and fading. I understand that you can get a clear UV shield on those parts that will keep the paint the same color.

I think a basic wrap is around $2-3K depending on material.

Im sure you were wringing your hands a little bit waiting to see how the CF pattern would turn out... but it looks great!! Nicely done.

With the advantages over a standard paint job is that it's removable, correct?

I'm still unsure about how it looks compared to a real paint job. I'd have to see it up close, but I like the idea... now spending $6,000 to wrap the car 3 times dosen't seem like a great idea to me.

Try repainting it 3 times Or buying 3 cars with different colors! lol

As for the appearance, the skill of your installer will dictate how the wrap will look. Some put seams all over the place and things bubble at the edges. Others get a near perfect fit. Virtaully all wraps are great from 5-10 feet. Decent from 5 feet and under, and only the best wraps are great on very close inspection. YMMV based on your installer.

Can you repair a wrap that has peeled, or bubbled? If my car get's scratched I don't have to repaint the entire car.

That's right. Panel by panel. Makes for easy repair!
