I did a live chat with a rep from their company and he said NO because the CDR210 will not switch to Aux mode, it will go AM, FM, CD and Changer if the cable is plugged in.
Is he correct?

Called the tech a Beckers as you suggested he told me it will not work with my CDR 210, I have to change out the head unit to make play an iPod directly into the unit.

if you want to keep it stock i got a cd220 (cassett version) of the cdr220 for cheap if you want to buy it.. otherwise i'd go aftermarket... easiest aftermarket to buy is the blaupunkt as they slip right in and all the connectors fit like stock..
