I heard they were even going to pay back anyone that has had repairs regarding the issue trying to prevent it. I picked up my forms from the dealer this afternoon and plan on sending them in PRONTO!

Got me GOOD. The best April's Fools yet!!! Funny thing, I really thought (just for a second) that Porsche North America really put its customers foremost in the scheme of things. Just think, wouldn't it be fair and just if PNA would fess up to an apparent flaw in their engineering. If Porsche is not going to own up to their mistakes, one must only think twice ( or trice) on purchasing or recommending another Porsche. How many cars out there in today's world, have an engine life expectancy of less than 100K. But tomorrow, is April 2nd and we go back to the real world and wait for our RMS or IMS failure, hoping that our credit card company doesn't reduce our limit below $16K.

I emailed PCNA this morning and told them I had read about some IMS problems. They said they were sending me a check for $10,000 to cover my knowledge of the IMS issue.

omg, YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT JUST HAPPENED
My car was just replaced with a TT and an apology, in addition, all boxsters are to be replaced with 911's, and if that was not enough, porsche recalled all 17 inch wheels and issued new 20's bling bling. schweet!
