have read those threads, will take some pics etc. and talk with the claims agent as well.

 

snapped a couple of pics for posterity.

whats the consensus on replacing the bumper? should that be something I insist on? worried if they fill it that cracking may occur.

pics show just how much the front end has been pitted, little white freckles....

I know the front plate sucks, but it's the law and the hassle is not needed.

the car that hit me was a Suzuki XL7 thing, little SUV, thats why the damage is above the plate. must have a trailer hitch too.

 

I'd hate to see how this person drives at fast than parking speeds.
