Guys, wow, this is awesome! Thanks for the great welcome. Yes, last night I got on 6speed before I found Rennlist. I'm don't know one from the other, but Rennlist seems pretty established. I haven't been on since I signed up last night and I was at school all day and came home to this! 
I just ran out and took some pics, I just gotta get them on photobucket and they'll be up in a few.
gota911, actually, I live on the west side near 410 and 90W. Just here for a year while I'm in school then off to Kansas... in a month!

okay, they are uploading. So, here's my story. I am in the Army and I spent 4 years in Germany. In 2005 I got a new M3 and drove it for a couple of years. It was great, my first sports car, and that's how I fell in love with a 6 speed manual. Then I sold it because I planned to leave the Army to go to medical school. So, I got a FWD Audi A3... which I ended up hating because it was both auto and FWD. Then I learned about this Army Physician Assistant thing and got picked up for that and that's why I'm in San Antonio, going to school at Fort Sam Houston. So... since I was staying in I figured what the heck, and I got the new C63 AMG... crazy power monster, but another mistake. Automatic... 
Sold that in San Antonio after I brought it over the pond because it was depressing to drive in this traffic.... slow... and it was no fun. Picked up a used Infiniti G35, drove it for the last 9 months and of course, not happy. Sooo... I just got so lucky to run across this 911 at the dealer here in town. Previous owner from Atlanta drove to San Antonio to trade in on a new model and walla, there she is. Great price, not crazy high mileage, and the options I would have picked myself. After driving it around for several miles today I brought me right back to the fun I had driving the M3. Except this seems to have the potential to be even more fun. I slide through almost every turn... 
So much fun!
