Default CLEANING ENG/TRAN

GooGone


BEFORE GOOGONE


NEW PICS AFTER GOOGONE. Clean off with water. Also cleaned off rubber hoses. Steel brush drill bit and steel wool was used on exhaust pipes.

It’s really not that bad to do since the underneath components are covered with a beeswax type substance and then covered with dirt and dust. The GooGone removes the beeswax which could be easily rinsed of with a water hose. This would have to be repeated if you don’t want to scrub with soap and water.

Chris - that looks great! I'm going to do that now that it is getting nicer outside. Looks like a good Saturday project. I've been working on the exhaust pipes for a while now but the rest of the underside should not be neglected.

Chris - that looks great! I'm going to do that now that it is getting nicer outside. Looks like a good Saturday project. I've been working on the exhaust pipes for a while now but the rest of the underside should not be neglected.
After first coating you need to let it sit for a couple hours to give the GooGone a chance to start work.

The before pics had the oil pan cleaned with GooGone and the Exhaust was cleaned. I didn't have pics be for I did anything.

Was this done on a cold or warm engine??
Engine was cold.

No heavy scrubbing. Test is out on the oil pan first too see what its like.
