You also need new wiring harnesses and plus. The connectors are different and they use a different blast. The ballast is mounted on the headlight. You can buy a retrofit kit for 996.2s without bixenons. I remember it is in the $2-2.5K range. It comes with complete headlights, wiring harnesses, connectors, etc.

Probably the cheaper, certainly better, option is to just trade/sell the 996.1 for a 996.2. As part of the deal, you not only get the new front end and headlights; but also a better/stiffer chassis, revised suspension, revised interior, more torque and more hp.

 

haha...I just want certain things that the WB has, like simple plain black side skirts, red panel along taillights, and thats about it....I like mk1 front also, but have seen some cab mk2 that look great as well

Why would anyone want to do that. A C4S is heavy (276 lbs) and slower than a C2. Just move them to a 996.2 instead.
