I have all the literature that came with my 996 as new, at least I think I do But I have nothing on the operation of the radio/Nav unit! The OM says nothing on the unit. Am I missing some literature on this, or was there nothing included with the car to begin with?

It would have its own user manual. Btw the oem one is really out dated, I'd seriously consider putting replacing it with a new one. (you can always keep the original and put it back it if you sell the car later on)

 

I wouldnt mind a newer one, only for the simple fact of an ipod hookup. I think I looked at Crutchfield and saw nothin under the Carrera Only Cayanne and Boxter.

 

You are missing the PCM manual.

 

When I bought my 2003 it did not have anything on the Bose system in the manual pack. I down loded one from Rennlist.org. You have to join to get to the TSB\manual section. Well worth it in my opinion.
