Took the C4S in for 90,000 mile service today...
I'm actually not quite to 89,000 miles, but this was a good time to do it.
When I pulled it into the service bay, it was the only car there. Several techs gathered around the car, smiling. It was quite a reception. My usual tech said "now that's what I'm talking about!". I looked puzzled, and he told me that when they start to see people bring in 911s for service, they know it's almost spring. I guess the 911 is kind of like the groundhog for Porsche technicians.
I took my tech for a ride to show him the sound my car is making that sounds like a hissing... maybe a pulley noise. After 10 seconds of riding, he recognized it. He said it is caused by a dirty throttle body. The car makes that hiss when the throttle is just applied, when the throttle body is barely open.
I get it back tomorrow, so we'll see if that's the difference.

I'll post when I get it back. It's getting the standard 90K service, which includes oil change, tune up with plugs, changing filters, changing front diff fluid, and now a throttle body cleaning.

I just picked up the car. It runs great. Here's what they did:
90,000 mile service with spark plugs, including oil and filter change, cabin filter change, brake fluid flush, cleaning of throttle body, front and rear differential fluid replacement and manual transmission fluid replacement. My dealership has switched from Mobil 1 to Valvoline SYN Power oil. They put 5W-40 in it, which is the weight that I have been running all along.
Grand total: $1,222.50.
Incidentally, the noise that the tech thought was the throttle body is still there. It's very, very subtle. I am beginning to think it is supposed to sound that way.

i just had my 75 k maintenance:
i managed to do some things myself and some local spots:
oil and filter change, $100 at Pep boys, including oil
engine air filter, cabin filter change, brake fluid flush; Supplies only, DIY
these are easy cars to work on, surprisingly so. I am finishing replacing my rear brake pads this weekend. The hardest part was to separate the pads from the squeal suppressors. Dealer wanted $140 plus $105 for pads, etc.
Happy trails to you!!!
