Need cost for parts/labor from PPI report
Hi, new member to forum.
Had PPI done on 2001 Carrera 4 with 38,000 miles.
Minor flaws mechanically, but PPI did not provide cost for parts and labor.
Could somebody with mechanical background provide estimate for following repairs:
Slight weep from right side valve/cam cover
Coolant flush/replace
Belts old and glazed/replace
Needs new battery
Needs steering fluid flush
front brake pads need replacing; rotors OK
rear tires down to wear bars.
Thank you.

Slight weep from right side valve/cam cover
That's OK and no major problem
Coolant flush/replace
Good for the life time of the car Porsche says. You can do it. Just buy Porsches fluid so nobody gets strange about it if you resell.
Belts old and glazed/replace
Cost of belt is all. You can change it with a wrench to pry the tensioner to make enough slack to slip off old and new one on. Gotta remove the air filter box.
Needs new battery
You can do that easy. Cost of battery. Some don't use the Porsche battery.
Needs steering fluid flush
Debateable. Fluid gets dirty from rubber in the system breaking down over years. Major change is clean fluid verses colored fluid. But you can do that for the cost of the CHF 202 steering fluid cost of around $30.
front brake pads need replacing; rotors OK
I'd have the shop do it since you ask.
rear tires down to wear bars.
Get new tires
