IIRC, these were standard on the 40th anniversary model. Sorry but I don't get that this is Honda racer boy mod. Now if these rings had LEDs in them and illuminated, then I would get it as a racer boy mod. Just sayin'

And there is NO gluing of these. You use a bead of silicone. Completely reversible if wanted.

This is my exact color combo...Ok here's the question - I see some have the 'chrome look' - others the matt aluminum look - which do you guys prefer

PM me if interested. I have a new unopened set of the matt aluminum ones that I recently took in exchange for a credit I had with a Porsche parts vendor. My car has grey leather surrounding the gauges with silver faces and black rings which looks good so I won't be using these.

Sorry, there's just no aspect of this bling that I like, especially the thought of gluing crap to the dash of my Porsche. Dare I say it reminds me of what a teenage Honda Civic driver might do to his car?

They go nice with my giant ricer wing

Now where is that catalog of LED license plate frames and giant exhaust tips?

Do the aluminum rings but they need to be accompanied by aluminum pedals for the full visual effect.

They make a huge difference in my black interior, original black gauges.
I got mine (matte) on eBay.

Ed, you can just use silicone which you can also peel off later if needed....

Hey, hold on there! First, I am not a teenager and second, I drive an Accord, not a Civic!

Use silicone to attach them. If you mess up, you can peel the stuff off and try again. No damage to the gauges or the rings.

Plus, they are shiny looking! No real Porsche owner drives a 996 without them!
