Some how it does not work for me on a 996 and think Mexico is better. Maybe because it is missing the orange racing stripes off setting the color like the 917?

The interior is Metropol Blue not black as the add states. That is the color of my interior. Cool exterior color though......

I like it, its a little too light... sort of VW bug Sky blue which I dont like.... but its nice to see something other than grey

VW had a gulf blue back in the 60s. In fact I used the color on my project 67 bug. Looks very different from the Porsche Gulf Blue though.

Gulf Blue is nice, but I also prefer Mexico. However, I'm really diggin' the Cargraphic wheels! I'd like to see some more pics of the Bug once it's been reassembled.

That color does not do it for me on the 996.... love it on an early 911!

Cool bug! Don't see to many of them around here.
Looking forward to my trip to SoCal In a couple of week, I love seeing all cool old cars on the road that just rust away here.

Without the orange stipe it is to much for my tastes. Then again I wouldn't want the stripe either. Do dig the wheels though.
