I have to thank all of you guys on RL. My 996 has been recycled all over the country and Canada, that is so cool. I have also bot parts from other cars. Truely a great community! Posting a few photos from today's track day at ECR. ( I'll run GTB1 until the 996spec class is adopted). Thanks for all the help and lowering the cost of my build. And for anyone thinking about using a 996 as a track car platform... DO IT!

Photos, it is a B&M short shifter with a few degrees of bend to move it closer to the driver, mounted in the stock 996 shifter housing.
