I'll run stock wheels for now, here are the 996specs: http://www.996specracing.com/The_Spec.html
with 996 prices so low, turning out a nice track/race car is do-able.

Thanks for the many inquiries, I have shipped most of the requested items this evening. So check your email for tracking codes or updates. I hope to post some of the remaining items next week, photos and prices. Again, ping me if you are looking for any interior parts. I have also pulled the mufflers, and a/c compressor. But more important I'll get some time to drive this weekend at TWS.

American windscreens are designed with lamination layers so that you have broken glass your head and or body will get cut up on punching through the glass. Germans redo any american cars arriving in country so that the windshield will pop out instead of grating your face. The material is also changed so that it remains whole instead of shattering. Of course they ship the american standard to the USA. My prefrence is the German standard.

Do you have a tan colored interior foor handle for left door panel?
Seat belts do hold a person in place for the front of the car to mash into them
I imagine since the advent of air bags not too many people make the trip out the front anymore. I figure the germans don't like glass floating around in accidents when conditions are already tough for the occupants. I worked as an EMT for a year which was interesting. People spill out of seatbelts when the cars tip. Glad I've never been there. Had my face pretty close to the pavement racing around on my sportbike though. That's non shattering plastic windscreen on the helmet
I never shipped a car to germany when stationed there but I'm sure anybody here who did take a car to germany can tell you the story of german strasse requirements and the big bill to pay before getting their car on german streets.
