Default Glove box door handle fix/replacement

Was attempting to open my glove box yesterday and the handle popped off a bit.

Is this something that can be fixed or should it just be replaced? I didn't have a chance to look at it too much but will try this evening. Only the right side where the key goes in is loose - the other side seems to be okay.

Wow that's two interior repairs in two weeks!

mine popped off, too, and I haven't fixed it yet. I'll be interested to know if anyone else has had this happen & the best DIY fix.

Unfortunately, the MkII 996 is built around the glove box handle. You will have to replace the entire car to fix it!

Later cars added it for some strange reason. I think it went below the passenger air bag.
