Default '99 Cab - Your Impressions?

I have noticed this '99 cab on sale for the last couple months at a Benz dealer down in LA. Here is the link http://www.mbencino.com/used/Porsche...6441adc8c0.htm. It's also on Ebay.

Looks like a reasonable price for a nice looking car. I do not know about service records or anything. Curious if anything jumps out at you (good or bad)?

Thanks.

It's interesting that you both mention the wheels (one good and one bad). The first picture below is a picture of the wheels from the car I posted. Second picture is another car I like the wheels on. Curious, is it is to get the wheels painted? That is, if I were to buy car 1 and get the wheels painted black might it look ok? Or can only some wheels be painted? I realize it's a personal taste on the all black but I like it.

Default I Bought Mine There!

I bought my 2001 Cab there... They are used cars guys and know nothing about Porsche... Mine was a 33,900 ask.... reduced to 26,900 ask and I paid 20,000..... I had to FIGHT for it to go to PPI but it did go to my normal guys at TRE who blessed it... There PPI is very good..... I like the wheels and would be happy to trade out my FACTORY chrome 18's turbo twist... Mark

I really like the headlight trim pieces. gives it back that 911 look. Where can I get a set of those?

I have seen several good looking ads on Craigslist in the Sacramento area. These would be easier for you to drive by and see. They all are in the same price range.

@Shark Attack: Maybe those headlights have painted the inside of the headlight cover?

its missing a lugnut ? (maybe the locks)
the headlight trim looks bad with the amber
its looks like a 4x4
the wheels look like a 993... are they 16" tires
no door speakers?
whats that antenna in the back?
stereo looks kinda hacked in
the cigarette lighter is not turned straight
whats all that stuff on top of the cabin air filter cover
whats with the spare tire cover
and the paint looks swirled from a buffer

$24k?
there are better cars for that money - BUT if you like it.... buy it.... just get the price down to about $20 IMO

sorry I am grumpy....

A) Great catches, Seems like a low spec car without even the HiFi stereo..
B) Remind me NOT to pick on Grumpy Ed tonight!
