Default Testing ECU, where can I send it?

Hi All,

I need to get my ECU tested to see if it is 100% functional.
-Is there a place you guys HAVE sent your ECU to have it tested? How much did that cost you for the diagnostic?
-2nd question is, can I buy another ECU and have it reprogrammed to my car: $ involved? What should I look out for in getting a USED ECU?

I traced my error code back to the ECU after checking the sensor, connections and the only varible is the ECU that is left.

Thanks.

Just curious, what were the symptoms that started your problem?

My car can't pass smog because of a code P1328. I thought it was the sensor at first then finally tested it with my friend's help. Then we tested the connections which turned out fine and the only variable is the ECU.

Sidenote- The P1328, Bank 1 from my Durametric is inccorect. The problem was on Bank 2.

Last night I saw online a company that reprograms for making the tiptronic change shifting styles. I have to figure there is somebody findable online advertising ECU programming that could at least give an answer if it could be done.
