Default Pop quiz #1 I got from my 1st Porsche - 2002 C4S

Hello all,

I am new to this forum. My name is Nelson, from Bay Area, CA. Just bought a seal grey 2002 C4S a week ago, with 64K, ROW M030 suspension, brand new PS2s, and both IMS and RMS done. Still can't believe that I officially own a 996 now. Appreciate the former owner who took good care of it. Honestly there's a lot I need to learn from scratch about Porsche. I believe I will enjoy the growth, and glad to have you guys here.

So the first thing I noticed just recently is some dripping when my baby is idling. The dripping is in the front. Is it the radiator? Any advice on parts that need to be checked or fixed?

Thanks a lot and wish everybody a happy new year.

Nelson

Looks like water from the A/C evaporator... Was the air conditioning running?

Congrats - beautiful car, BTW.

p.s. it was 9 degrees in NY this morning... but I presume it's warmer in CA.

+1 on both. Great looking car. It's warmed up to 11 where I am.

Welcome with your new C4S, very nice. Your Porsche is dripping because it's happy to be with a new enthusiastic owner.

Welcome to the fold. Beautiful car. Must be warm in California. I drove my car today and it was 18 degrees. Did my best to dodge the newly formed potholes. I'm jealous of your weather.

Enjoy it in good health,

Welcome to the group- beautiful car! Really like the darker silvers.

I wish I needed AC- got another 2 " of snow last night (on top of 12' already), but still took the 996 to work. I can't believe how good the car is in snow.
Suppose to be -4~-8deg going into weekend. Brrrrrrr. Might let the car sleep in those temps.

Cool, the wide *** enhances it's look. Well kept car that you will enjoy immensely especially in those twisty roads of Norther CA.
