No indy recommendations for SF. I have used Rector Porsche in Burlingame and the guys there are great.

Kahler's out in Dublin was once a good indy but I haven't used it in years and am not current on its status.

Beyond that, I never used an indy shop, instead using a dealership, several (Rector, Stead of Walnut Creek, Livermore Porsche) in fact depending.

Based on my recent experiences I'd give anyone of these a thumbs up.

Sincerely,

Macster.

Euro Motorcars on 6th St. in San Francisco. The shop is not flashy but they are very qualified with good prices. They are pretty extensively reviewed on yelp as well.

thanks guys - I'm set up at Euro Motorcars - lot of good feedback on Yelp

used to go down the peninsula, but it's a hassle getting rides, etc.

Good to hear. Hope everything works out for you. I like him because he never tries to oversell you. He fixes what's necessary and monitors other issues over time. No service advisors just the straight deal from the owner/master mechanic.
