Default Odd headlight question

While washing the car the other day, it looks as though my headlight has actually 'sunk'. The driver's side seems to be about half a cm lower than the passengers. Planning on taking it out and having a look when I can get in a heated garage.

Has anybody had this happen before? It came out of the blue and seems reaaaaaly odd to me.

Maybe the headlight wasn't seated properly the last time it was taken out? Just a wild guess.

did anyone sit on it?

the tabs on the sdie of the lights can break off... also the "tray" the light slides into is adjustable but its a bit tricky to get them just right.

just ideas

That's horrible. I'm never eating lunch and browsing this forum at the same time again.

The headlight wasn't taken out. As far as sitting on it, I guess somebody could have when I was parked at work. Although I'd like to think they didn't.

I had it at the shop a while back, but I can't imagine an engine drop causing headlight issues. I'll take 'er out on my days off and see if I can adjust that 'tray'. Thanks!

Took it out today, and no sign of why it's not lining up. Tabs are intact, and I can't figure out how that tray adjusts. Any bolts on the underside looked like they'd drop the bumper off too...

Are the headlights like *********? Should I expect the other one to drop sooner or later?

Only if "Miss Tons of Fun" (shown in my earlier post) sits on your lap!

I did with no luck. It comes back to rest in the exact same spot every time.
